Finding the right coffee is an art, mixing coffee beans to create a perfect blend is and remains a harmonious whole. Each coffee has its own ratio between sweet and bitter, aroma, tanginess and specific body. Coffee remains a natural product, so no harvest is the same. Strangely enough, the coffee you drink always tastes the same, this is due to the blending of the coffee beans. The flavors only come into their own when they are properly blended.
After assessing the samples of green coffee for their characteristics, the melangeur goes to work blending the various beans so that there is a consistent taste/quality. If the recipe is changed even slightly, you can launch yet another brand, so to speak. This allows a blender to create endless blends and I think you can understand why there are so many brands on the market.
In addition to all the different blends, there are also Single Origin and Single Estate blends. A Single Origin is a blend that comes from one country or region, allowing you to taste all the characteristics of the place of origin. If you are looking for a coffee from one plantation, a Single Estate coffee is an excellent coffee with beautiful and unique flavors.
What do you prefer to drink? Round flavors or just powerful and specific?
